So we're back...brown and relaxed!

The trip was great. The weather awesome, the staff in the restaurants doted on Zach. They took him all over the restaurant in his highchair on wheels. Didn't speak much english but hey, neither does he! He loved them so much! Betcha he's wondering where the rest of his "staff" is....I mean he came with 5 staff members to suit his every need but to have every waiter, waitress and hostess in the place fawning over him? Priceless! Some trouble making formula and bottles and food...but hey we overcame. Next time we should research a bit more. Better prepared.

The flight back he was absolutely AWESOME. Slept the whole way on Daddy! Couldn't ask for a better baby the entire trip!

HERE WE GO!

OOOOH of to Vanouver for the night.....we fly to the Dominican Republic tomorrow... YAY! Was of course great for the trip to Victoria to meet Rick and Jen. He is awesome in the car...lets hope that he is as good on the plane?! We get to Victoria...bit of a scramble as, oops, our car insurance ran out 5 days ago...and a guy in a truck on the road told us...can you imagine? So off to our hotel after the ferry ride...a scabby child and mom wanted to play with us but....no way too scary. Hotel, rather cool as we had adjoining rooms. Back and forth he went. Slept pretty good other than the fact that we had to wake him to go to the airport at an unsightly hour. UGH.

Plane ride-ok hello, perfect baby. He was great! No crying except once but that lasted a mere few minutes....he was so perfect! Thats my boy! Here we go on our adventure!

Christmas Party for my staff

Big night for Zach. Many many people over for the dinner...he was a bit too excited so had to be removed to Grandmas for a bit but got over that quickly. Had a blast. Showed off for whoever was looking. Was pretty much a good time.

We now sleep through the night EVERY night! Yay. Have shared our success with other moms that are sleepy and feel like zombies but no one is comfortable enough to do it. All I can say is that it worked for me.....and I am awake on a daily basis!

OOOOOH a night away!

So it was my birthday yesterday. Had an amazing day...lots of fun shopping with Mom uptown childless, then had some company come by during the day...was all in all just a great day. Went to Boston Pizza for dinner (wearing my new leather jacket and italian charm bracelet) Zachary was very very good in the restaurant and ate dry bread (yummy!), then we went home and Larry tells me that we are going to Courtenay to look at vehicles as ours is just TOO small) and really, where did we go? To Crown Isle Resort for the night...Woah, the first night away from Zach since he was born. Was it ever nice. Felt really strange but it was nice to just have some Mommy and Daddy time. Man was the room to die for. Absolutely beautiful!!!! Grandma had a good night too...he slept through the night! We came home later that day and Zach and grandma and Edele had had a great day! First time away, and a success! HMMMM maybe a weekend away next?????

2 nights in a row! I have slept 2 nights in a row....YAY for me!

HE SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO really. He didn't wake up once last night. OH YAY!!!! I think I will have to thank Dr. R. when we take him back next week for a recheck! He woke up around 8:15am after a nice bedtime of 8:30pm and played in bed until 8:30 or so! YAY YAY YAY
