Blow a Kiss and Let it go, you never know how love will grow...

He is just so damn cute! Now, as he is walking along, hey who needs to crawl?, he makes kisses. It sounds so cute. Picture this; cute little Zach Kirk walking along with arms in the air, focusing on the floor making kissing sounds...doesn't it make you all warm and fuzzy feeling?!

Look in to my eyes...my Hazel eyes

It's official. Zach has "hazel" eyes. And wow are they cool! Lots of green .... We have had comments on the fact that his eyes are brown....how did that happen????...hmmmmm lets look at some family tree stuff.....Me (his Mom), Grandma Embree, Great Grandma Embree, Great Grampa Clark, need the list go on. We all have either brown or hazel eyes. So next time you wonder...hmmmm what color are his eyes and how did they get to be this color...there is a bit of his family history for you. And why would anyone think that one eye color is better than the other...I happen to like all colors of eyes....it makes us each individual and unique. In 15 years the girls will be LOVIN his eyes....!

The Charmer Gene I'll claim he got from us. The Trouble-Maker Gene I'll always claim he got from his dad's side of the family. I think we can easily see both in evidence here.

One step at a time, "Daddy"

Well, baby genius now walks up to 4 steps on his own. Before we know it we will be trying hard to remember when he was just learning to crawl. When they say it happens so quick you don't realize until they tell you it's time to go back to work. How can the year have gone by so quickly?!

Zach says the odd word now and then...even odder was how clear "Daddy" was when he said it.....hey how about "Mommy"??? Oh well, he says...we think, Dog, Car and a couple other familiar sounding words....is it just us thinking he is talking? I doubt it. He looks at the item and seems to get it...and say it....Book is another. He loves to be read to now....we can usually make it through the same book MANY times over, you just switch up the story a bit so you don't get bored...I'm sure he loves it any way you say it!
